In 1736 the Swiss mathematician Leonhard Euler solved the 7 bridges of Konigsberg problem by creating a new branch of mathematics called Graph Theory, which underpins our understanding of the theory of networks. In this talk we will explore some notable graph theory problems, including the 19th century Irish puzzle, the Icosian Game, and examine how our understanding of networks will address issues raised by the Internet of Things.

Please note: This event will take place in your school. In order to book this talk, please contact Eleanor Reade, School of Science WIT.
