Have your school reach new heights with Ireland Rocks. The online times tables competition that will boost maths confidence alongside accuracy and recall speed. Running alongside Maths Week Ireland the competition is open to all schools in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

Beidh páistí sa cheantar ag déanamh conair matamaitice, cluichí agus luath- ghníomhaíochtaí matamaiticúla le B.ECE 2, B.Oid 3 and PME 1. / On 17th, 18th and 19th, outreach events will take place. Children from the area will complete maths trails, games and early mathematical activities with students from B. ECE 2, B.Oid 3 and PME 1.

Join master story teller, Steve Sherman, the chief imagination officer of Livingmaths.com for Maths Story adventure everyday at 11 am-12:00am from October 16th and 20th. You are invited to take part in 5 exciting episodes in the Loving Maths series. Children will be introduced to mathematical concepts and ideas through the use of stories and play.
Join Tony Sweeney, Numeracy trainer, for a workshop for visual and animated methods to present problem and puzzle solving, area, distance and measurement. The webinar includes puzzles and problem-solving, which not only make learning fun but also give opportunities for incidental learning. There are also items to help students in their working lives and social activities.
In celebration of Maths Week, Bubbly Maths with Caroline Ainslie will take place. Caroline will perform her 45-minute maths show using magical soap bubbles and giant balloons to illustrate the mathematical fundamentals of shape, space and measurements. Children will learn mathematics without even realising it! Times: 9:30 - 10:30am, 11.00 – 12.00pm, 12:30 - 1:30pm
