This quiz will provide pupils from 3rd class upwards with an opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge and understanding of the subject in an enjoyable and collaborative manner without leaving their classroom. Rounding and approximation can be used to make everyday calculations simpler and data easier to understand. This webinar will look at some practical examples used in real life, showing why being exact with figures is not always the optimal way to do things!
Where pupils in their own class, collaborate to work as one team, competing against hundreds of other classes from across the country. Last year we had more than 20,000 pupils participate in the Maths Week Mini and Mega Quiz events, simultaneously. The questions nurture collaboration and communication between classmates and as they are posed by video and not in written form, encourage all pupils to become actively involved. They are great fun too!
