Welcome to the Maths Week Daily Update for Thursday

No midweek slump here at Maths Week!

In total we have over 450,000 people participating in maths week activities with record numbers attending our online and in-person events. On Tuesday we had over 15,500 students participate in the Maths Week Mega Quiz and yesterday we had over 400 Senior Infants -1st class (ROI) and Y2-Y3 (NI) classes attend children's author Sally Lunt’s Cuthbert Sees Double event. It’s heart-warming to see so many excited faces tuning into the events.

Coming up today, we have lots more wonderful activities taking place. As it’s impossible to share everything, we would like to highlight specific events that may be of interest to you and information on online events, activities and resources that are available for you or your class to take part in.

Please follow us on social media – Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and TikTok to see more action from around the country. We would love if you could share with us your own activities by either tagging us and / or using our hashtag #MathsWeek2022. Yesterday, for the second day in a row, #MathsWeek2022 was trending on Twitter.

If you or your school / group are participating, please make sure to register on our website

Thanks for participating,
