October 17, 2022 @ 19:00 - 20:00
Monday October 7pm–8pm: for parents of children aged 10-13 years old
Did you struggle with maths at schools? Are you worried your child will too? Why not sign up for our Free Maths Week Parent Workshops! These free workshops with Dr Aisling Twohill of DCU will help you to help your child with maths, building confidence, enjoying maths and seeing how relevant it is to everyday life. Maths is around us every day, in everything from sports statistics to money to the shape of buildings.
The workshops will show how we are all mathematicians and how there are things all around us every day which give us the chance to talk about maths. The workshops are free of charge and delivered by Dr Aisling Twohill of DCU, who is passionate about helping people to build their confidence in maths. This is a unique opportunity to build your confidence in maths in a fun and engaging way.
There are different time slots based on the age of your children, you can choose which workshop you would like to attend on our Eventbrite booking page.
Monday October 7pm–8pm: for parents of children aged 10-13 years old
Note: these workshops are for parents only, not children. They will provide a variety of ways that parents can build their own confidence in maths and help their children’s confidence in maths.
