Interested in Mathematical Mysteries? The UCD School of Mathematics and Statistics is organising an interactive virtual event for Maths Week 2021 and would like to invite all 4th-6th year students of Irish secondary schools to take part!

The event will take place from 18-22 October. Each day we will release a short video describing an interesting mathematics or statistics problem/paradox. The videos will be accompanied by a couple of questions for students to solve. We propose that teachers show the videos in class and assign some class time for working on the problems. We envision that this will take up 15-20 minutes of class time each day. The answers of each group of students will be submitted electronically and the winners will be announced during the subsequent week (25-29 October).
