Audience: Primary school age.
Maths Week have teamed up with Bricks 4 Kidz to deliver LEGO® workshops during Maths Week! A Bricks 4 Kidz workshop uses LEGO® that kids love to deliver hands-on lessons correlated to cross-disciplinary curriculum objectives. The Bricks 4 Kidz approach to learning is imaginative, multi-sensory and fun, creating a dynamic learning experience for young minds. This free family Maths Week event from will be held in Creativity Centre in Wexford Town on Saturday the 12^th of October.

The event will take place from 11am – 12.30pm and will include a Maths focused workshop accredited under SFI’s DPSM programme. There will also be a speaker from a local Insurance company to give a brief (5 minute) talk to attendees about their career and how they use Maths on a day to day basis. Children will build a motorised LEGO Technic model and also listen to an interactive presentation on our chosen build.
