Maths Week Ireland: Promoting mathematical literacy, throughout and beyond education

MEI 7 continues with the proud tradition of hosting  a series of biennial conferences on the former grounds of St. Patrick’s College which now houses Ireland’s first Institute of Education in DCU. It is dedicated to creating a stage for sharing ideas and best practices in the field of mathematics teaching, and exchanging findings of current research in mathematics education.

Maths Ireland will be at the eagerly anticipated seventh conference (MEI 7). The event will take place on 11th – 12th of October, make sure to register on their website by October 1st. The theme for this year’s conference; Mathematical Literacy, throughout and beyond education. Maths Ireland will have a talk on Saturday 11th at 9.00am in room E203
