There was great excitement amongst the Maths Week team today as registration tipped the hundred thousand mark. Schools across the country have been getting on board with pupils coming from rural and urban areas alike.

“We’re delighted to be able to share Maths Week with so many people” said Maths Week coordinator Cordula Weiss. “It is so encouraging to see the enthusiasm and energy with which people are engaging with Maths Week. From the smallest to the largest schools, across the island of Ireland students and teachers are organising their own events and taking part in our events and those of our many partners”
