The speaker, Dr. Fernando Blasco is a mathematician and lecturer at the Polytechnic University of Madrid, interested in recreational maths and magic. He uses magic to introduce the public to topics such as prime numbers, knot theory, sudoku, topology, number systems, mind games, calendars or quick calculation.

Professor Colm Mulcahy will do three one-hour presentations to local national schools and the first year students of our local secondary school in the Letterkenny Campus.
