Activity: This is a simple but long activity that will combine maths and art; thinking and stitching. Use additions of 10 to connect the right holes with wool and create a nice star design.

Print out the template and make holes over the magenta dots. We recommend a stiff paper such as card or poster. You can use plain paper, but there is a risk of tearing when the wool goes through.

To make holes, place your paper over a piece of cardboard and apply a force with a pencil, screwdriver or large skewer over the magenta dots.
