Discover Science at UCD: Maths Week Ireland Webinar – 15th October

The UCD School of Mathematics and Statistics is hosting a free webinar for Transition Year, 5th and 6th Year students as part of the Maths Week Ireland celebrations.

This online event will feature a series of short talks showing how mathematics tackles real-world challenges, from modern communication and the statistics of everyday life to black holes, artificial intelligence, and predicting the weather. Teachers and students can register, and everyone who signs up will receive the webinar link in advance.
