Maths Week 2024 Results, competitions and prizes

Its been another great maths week with over 500,000 pupils registered by over 3,000 teachers from over 2,300 schools.


Thank you all for making it such a huge success!


We know that as teachers you will be moving on to new activity and  demands so it would be great if you could please help us by completing our post-event survey


If you haven’t registered and did participate in Maths Week you can still register until Friday 25 October.

Some Headline Numbers:

  • 500,000 students and 3,000 teachers from over 2,300 schools

  • 38,000 Students doing Maths Week Olympiad

  • Over 100,000 views of Maths Week puzzles on Journal.ie

  • Up to 20,000 attending large scale in person events

  • Over 500 classes competed on Targetboards

  • Puzzles in the Park in 16 parks around the island.
