Maths Week 2009 kicked off to a great start on Saturday 10th Oct. when an international team of presenters took to the streets in Dublin City Centre to engage the public directly to challenge people’s perceptions of mathematics.

The strongest team of maths outreach ever fielded in Ireland comprised around 20 enthusiastic Maths-soc students from TCD & UCD with Primary and Secondary Teachers and third level lecturers. This international team of mathematicians, educators and magicians with Irish, English, German and Spanish participation. All ages were engaged and entaertained with mathematical magic tricks, puzzles and mazes.


Venue: South King Street / Grafton Street area

Saturday 10th Oct. 11.30 am – 4:30 pm.
