How many questions would you need to ask Santa to find the right number?

(at the maximum, if you are very unlucky)

In 20 questions you are sure to find any number from 1 to 1,000,000,000. Design your questions to remove each time the half of them like ‘is the number equal or below 500,000?

By doing so, you will apply an algorithm to help you find the correct number, like a computer will do.
