Maths in the Round at City Hall

The Maths Week crew will be teaming up with NRICH for a special live pop-up maths event in Dublin City Hall this Maths Week. We will have shows and activities for fifth and sixth class pupils featuring Alison Kiddle of NRICH. In this workshop, Alison takes students on a voyage of discovery. Starting from familiar ideas about number patterns and relationships, students will explore activities taken from the award-winning NRICH website, make and prove their own conjectures, and get an insight into the intriguing branch of Pure Mathematics known as Number Theory.
