Building Delaunay Triangles Workshop in Marino with resident artist Mark Joyce on Wednesday October 16th at 12:10.

A Delaunay triangulation is created using a set of random points or seeds that makes a triangular ‘mesh’. This triangulation was invented by Boris Delaunay in 1934, its random quality allows for the modelling of natural shapes, movements and spatial topologies used in Computer Generated Imagery in films. We will make Delaunay Mosaics and collaborate on a large piece for exhibition on campus.
