Audience: 4th – 6th class. This fun and interactive workshop run by maths lecturer Kieran Murphy explores the ideas behind combinatorial games – games where two players take turns trying to outsmart each other (Nim, Take-Away Game, The Poisoned Chocolate Game). Participants will be introduced to the fundamentals behind such games before students can try out their own strategies to discover the best strategy for winning.
