Maths Week Ireland 2011
Maths Week 2011 is is now over. And what a week it has been. Starting with Maths in the City in Dublin on the 15th and finishing in Belfast on the 22nd October it has been amazingly successful.

You have made Maths Week Ireland the top festival of its kind in the world.
Over 122,000 pupils participated in schools all over the island and many more attended (well) over 100 events. If you have not contacted us to tell us that you have participated, please do so soon as we will shortly finalise all the participation numbers.
If you did register your school and participate please send us in your reports, we would love to hear them.
Loads of activities and projects were launched during Maths Week this year generating a sustained impact!
Maths Week Ireland 2012 will run from 13th - 21st October 2012 - with your help we intend to keep growing!!
Maths Week Ireland is an all-Ireland celebration of Maths and is a partnership of almost 50 universities, institutes of technology, colleges, museums, libraries, visitors centres, professional bodies - any group that values maths.
Maths Week Ireland promotes, awareness, appreciation and understanding of maths through a huge variety of events and activities.

Teachers and Schools all over the island are doing a fantastic range of activities in-school this week to engage their pupils. A staggering number of pupils - over 100,000 - will mark Maths Week Ireland in schools all over Ireland. Congratultions to all the primary teachers and post primary maths teachers for this wonderful achievement!
