Maths in the City
Maths Week 2009 kicked off to a great start on Saturday 10th Oct. when an international team of presenters took to the streets in Dublin City Centre to engage the public directly to challenge people’s perceptions of mathematics.

Professional magician, former maths teacher and school vice-principal, Andrew Jeffrey has been brought back again this year as his "Magic of Maths" show proved so popular last year.
Maths at the National Wax Museum Plus
The newly opened Wax Museum has decided to honour Ireland's most important mathematician,, William Rowan Hamilton. Cover charge applies
DIT - Magic of Maths with Fernando Blasco
Join one of Spain's best known maths communicators, mathematician and magician, Fernando Blasco for a session of fun maths and also enjoy maths stands with DIT staff and students showing what's fun and cool in maths.
UCD Maths Week Event - Booked Out -
Lecturers from the UCD Schools of Mathematical Sciences, Physics and Computer Science and Informatics will deliver a series of short talks on a range of topics that involve maths including understanding how the shuffle works on an iPod, exploring the origins of the earth and examining the online world of Googling, YouTube and social networking.

Jenny’s workshops focus on developing problem solving skills in some challenging and entertaining contexts.
