Dingle Oceanworld Maths Trail
October 13 - October 22| €7
In celebration of Maths Week 2018, Dingle Oceanworld Aquarium will be hosting a series of maths trails for primary school children.
About the maths trail
The maths trail will centre around the tanks inside the aquarium. Children will divide into groups and be supplied with trail sheets/guides in order to complete the trail together. Teams will be asked to decode a series of questions, puzzles and equations, the one-digit answers to which will be used to decipher a coded lock on a pirate box. Inside will be even larger, more interactive puzzle to challenge and entertain inquisitive minds!
The activity is not a race. Children will be encouraged to complete the task at their own pace, working as a team. Staff will be on hand to help at all times. Upon completion, pupils will be presented with a small prize and certificate.
